With over 500 beautiful cars in town, Okotoks and area residents came out to take in the Olde Towne Show N' Shine on Sunday.

Ben Stepa with the Kinsmen Club of Okotoks and the chairman for the Show N' Shine says it was a huge success.

"It's been tremendous, it's worked out so well! We have a lot of great volunteers and we just want to thank everyone for their help today!"

Not only was the turn out wonderful, Stepa says two very important local charity's also got a big lift with a donation from the Kinsmen Club of Okotoks.

"We are making a donation today from the Kinsmen club to the Rowan House and Search and Rescue. There is two $2500 cheques here for $5000 donated in total."

The Kinsmen Club chose those two organizations as they see a direct impact in the community by supporting them Stepa adds.

"They are local organizations, and we see the benefit of helping them directly in our community.  It's heartwarming to be able to support these organizations, and again I would really like to thank our volunteers and everyone for coming out." Stepa shares his pride in a job well done!  "We've seen tremendous support and we are overwhelmed by it! We hope everyone had fun and had a good time and would love to see the same thing again next year!"

The Eagle 100.9's award for the best exotic car went to a fire engine red, Jaguar E-Type which really seemed to grab the attention of the crowds.

Another main attraction was the Dragster, which roared when it's engines were on full blast.
