RCMP in Alberta are focusing on four areas of concern this month.

Sergeant Brent Hawker says they'll be keeping an eye out for off-road vehicle infractions, construction zones, cyclists and motorcycles.

"We encourage people operating motorcycles that they take care, same sorts of rules of the road, we're hopeful that a lot of them have had the new motorcycle safety courses that are offered in the province," Sgt. Hawker says. "They too have to be aware of what's going on around them."

He says cyclists and off-road vehicle operators should be wearing helmets, although they are not mandatory.

He reminds drivers going through one of the many construction zones in the area to slow to 60 kilometres an hour, just as they would when going by an emergency vehicle working along the side of the road.
