Spectacle Blue presents their spring show this weekend.

The show is called Peregrina's Circus.

Owner of Spectacle Blue and creative director Robyn Such says that it is a unique show.

"It's a 1930-ish set circus with acrobatic acts and side show acts."

Along with the performance itself there will be a carnival set up outside.

Such says that the storyline follows the circus life of Peregrina, who seems to be a little bit sad.

"You can't quite tell if Peregrina has been dropped with the circus or if her parents are performers but she is sort of a lost soul. She isn't apart of the circus so she wanders around as this unwanted child trying to find a place to fit in."

Such says that this circus is not your animal circus with lion tamers and elephants.

"We take the term circus and we use it more as spectacle theater."

The show runs Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Tickets are $20.
