Strong winds will continue Wednesday and will be accompanied by a smokey haze.

Southwesterly winds will redevelop late in the afternoon and intensify into the evening with gusts up to 110 km/h. The strong winds will continue through the night and diminish Thursday morning.

Smoke from wild fires caused by the wind is causing poor air quality and reducing visibility.

Motorists should use caution when traveling on highways as heavy smoke will cause poor visibility and strong winds may make it difficult to steer.
