A tragic end to the long search for Michael Ully.

Strathmore RCMP received a call last Thursday about a body that had been discovered on the shores of the Bow River southeast of Carseland.

With the assistance of the Calgary Medical Examiner's Office, the RCMP have positively identified the body as that of 41-year-old Michael Ully of Strathmore.

Ully was previously reported missing to the RCMP in November of last year.

He had numerous friends in and around Okotoks and High River.

RCMP say they are not looking for any suspects as the death is not believed to be suspicious.

The RCMP and family of Michael Ully have sincerely thanked all the members of the public, and search teams who took the time in searching for Ully.
