A windy, but warm night greeted nearly 10,000 spectators for Friday night's Santa Claus Parade in High River.

A record number of floats had the parade clock in at just over an hour from end to end, but the crowds didn't seem to mind as their was plenty of music, candy and hot chocolate to keep them happy.

The Town also held indoor and outdoor markets during the parade and light-up ceremonies, which helped keep some of the spectators in the downtown before, during and after the parade.
