Sandul's Pharmacy in Black Diamond was the victim of an armed robbery last Thursday.

Just before 5 p.m., Okotoks and Turner Valley RCMP responded to the complaint where the male suspect was caught on surveillance footage entering the back door of the pharmacy and immediately going to the dispensary.

He then proceeded to climb over the gate, pulled out a knife on staff, and gained access to the safe where he took a variety of narcotic drugs then fled out the back door and down the alley.

He was last seen heading south bound on 1st Street.

RCMP say the suspect is described as a Caucasian male, around 20- 30 years old, being 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie, grey sweat pants, black gloves, black backpack, white and black shoes, sunglasses, and a light blue/ grey knitted toque he pulled down to cover his face.
