The Province is still working to get more women to run for office in this Fall's civic elections.

Alberta's Minister for the Status of Women, Stephanie McLean, says there's still time to get involved, but the clock is ticking.

"There are only three months left for women to declare their run for city or town councils. I'm excited to report that there are already more women signed up to run for Edmonton and Calgary Council than ran in 2013."

Nominations need to be in by Monday, September 18, with the election set for Monday, October 16.
