Okotoks Culture is looking to fill seats at the rotary performing arts centre this upcoming season.

Tickets purchased between now and Aug. 14 will receive 30% off, tickets bought between Aug. 15 and Sept. 10 will be 20% off, then tickets from Sept. 11 to one hour prior to a show will be 10% off.

Allan Boss, culture and heritage manager, says whether spectators are watching a comedy act or a theatre production the RPAC is a great setting.

"RPAC is an intimate venue and we sell only to 150 people in that facility," he says. "Every seat in the house is a good seat and the acoustics are stunning, every artist who comes in comments about how great the sound is in there. We have a great light system, great sound system, and you can bring your beverages into the theatre."

The 2016/2017 season will kick off with Harvest and Blues Fest Sept. 23-24.

Boss says a lot of talent will be town for the event.

"It'll highlight some of the most amazing Canadian blues artists. We're going to have people like Bill Dowey and Eric Allen, John Rutherford, Debra Power and Kat Danser another fablous artist, and local blues artist Darren Johnson is going to be taking part in it."

The season also features acts from the Dewdney Players Group Theatre, Yuk Yuk's, Goodger Pink, and other comedy acts, concerts, and film viewings.
