The wild west comes to high river this weekend.

Besides the chucks and the rodeo there's a mini wild west show to take in.

Sally Bishop is a former trick rider who's now become what's called a Roman Rider.

"Roman Riding is, well I do it with four horses, so it's kind of like a chuckwagon team, you're standing on the back two and you're driving the front team so there's similarities with the balance that is involved but obviously you have different horsepower," Bishop says. "I was Roman Riding when I did Cavalia but I thing that my personal preference is Roam Riding over trick riding, I really love the thrill of it."

Dwayne Wiley of Longview will be riding his buffalo Apache' and John Scott has provided horses and a wagon for the show which takes place at the start of the rodeo Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday.
