Should be a better drive home Wednesday afternoon than it was getting into work Wednesday morning.

The snow has stopped and the sun is out making it easier for the plows to get a handle on the dump of snow we've seen in the last 24-hours or so.

Plow operators in the area are telling us Highways 2, 2A and 7 are in much better shape and they've started to clear the shoulders on those roads.

However there are still some slippery sections you'll need to watch out for.

As well, bridge decks, run up's and merge lanes are still a work in progress.

The secondary highways have been plowed and sanded as well.
