With the warmer weather and summer like conditions Riverbend Campground is open for business.

Owner and Manager Marilyn Couture says there are a couple of things to consider before you reserve you pitch your tent.

"We're wide open but have no running water and a fire ban is on. You're still welcome to come in, campers must phone the campground office to reserve a site at 403-938-2017.

She says the campground is open every weekend until the official opening on May 1st and says they have something for everyone.

"We have fully serviced washrooms and laundry, we have kids parks, walking trails, mini golf and paddle boats."

Manager Marilyn Couture says they pride themselves on the cleanliness of their facilities. 

Lake at Riverbend Campground often used by paddle boats, also available at the campground. 

She says they're already booked solid for the May long weekend in serviced spots but still have space in non-serviced sites.

Couture says you can get around the fire ban.

"You can use Colman stoves, BBQ's and propane fire pits just not open flame right now."
