Wherever Foothills residents find themselves Wednesday, there's an opportunity to for them to pay tribute to veterans and take in Remembrance Day services.

In Okotoks people can pay tribute at the Pason Centennial Arena with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. and the service taking place at 10:10.

The Town of High River will be holding its annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the Highwood Memorial Centre at 9:45 a.m. with an open house afterwards at the High River Legion.

Turner Valley is hosting a service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Oilfields High School in Black Diamond which will be followed by a second ceremony at the Cenotaph outside the Turner Valley Legion.

The Bomber Command Museum in Nanton will be hosting its annual service as well Wednesday morning, rain, snow, or shine at 11 o'clock.

People will have the chance to stay after the ceremony to tour the museum and the interior of the Lancaster, talk to veterans and check out the interactive displays.
