Okotoks RCMP are warning parents to check their children's Halloween candy after a razor blade was found in a boy's candy.

The blade was discovered after candy was dumped into a bowl and RCMP say it was loose in the treat bag.

No injuries were reported from the incident.

The had been trick or treating in the Cimarron community on Halloween.

Okotoks RCMP Sgt Sukh Randhawa says it doesn't hurt to check someone's Halloween candy again just in case something may have gone undetected.

If you have any information about the incident call Okotoks RCMP or Crimestoppers.
