Friday night Foothills residents will be taking in the sights and sounds of Christmas.

Light Up Okotoks has events planned throughout the community from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

To help prepare for the event a few road closures will be taking place along Elizabeth St., McRae St, and North Railway St.

Motorists are being asked to drive with caution and find an alternate route.
