A petition calling for a plebiscite on the Province's new carbon tax and farm workers rights legislation has made it's way to High River.

George Clark is the head of a group called "Albertans First" who's spearheading the petition.

He says they'll present the petition to the Lieutenant Governor General the day the Legislature resumes next month.

Either February 7 or 9.

He says he's doubtful the Government will give the petition the time of day, and has come up with a "Plan B."

"We also have another measure that we're going to start on the day we're at the Legislature with our large gathering. Which we have very high confidence will see Rachel Notley removed from the Premier's Office before, if she doesn't listen to the democratic will of the people."

What is that plan?

Clark won't say, other than he's bounced it off lawyers and other politicians who he claim says it's a solid idea.

So far Clark is boasting of over 80,000 signatures Province wide.

You can sign the petition at the High River UFA between now and the early next month.
