An Okotoks woman is set to appear in court following an investigation last week by Okotoks RCMP.

On Thursday around 11:00 p.m. police stopped a vehicle they suspected of being involved in drug related activity.

A drug investigation was performed where police seized 15 grams of crack, a weigh scale, and other drug related paraphernalia which resulted in the driver of the vehicle being placed under arrest.

RCMP say Lori Dodds of Okotoks is now facing one count of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and one count of breach of conditions charge.

She's scheduled to appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on Aug. 26.

Dodds is also facing charges from a previous offence in May and will be in court on Friday.
