Fans at Saturday Night's Okotoks Oilers game against the Grande Prairie Storm will get a chance to meet a former member of Canada's Women's National Team.

It's RBC Game Night and Bobbi-Jo Slusar will be the guest of honour for the evening.

She says she's been able to partake in a few RBC Game Nights and looks forward to another great experience.

"Its really enjoyable to be at these events, I've been to three already, it's my last one for a little while, I'll be there basically to chat with fans," she says. "Obviously I used to play hockey and its always really good to give back and the RBC Olympian program definitely does that."

Slusar says she won't be hard to find in the crowd to interact with her.

"I'll be there with my banner and signing sticks along with giving away free mini sticks," she says. "There will also be a number of other giveaways like waving your RBC card and you could receive a $50 gift certificate just different things that are going around at the rink that are going to be a lot of fun so I'll be there to socialize with everybody and hopefully cheer on the Oilers."

Slusar says she takes advantage of every opportunity to give back to community hockey programs.

"Supporting local hockey is a really cool thing," she says. "Just growing up and being able to play hockey whenever you can have support and you can just have an exciting game night that's really important for me, a lot of people gave a lot to me so its just fun to be there as a former Team Canada player able to sort of give back a little bit of my time."

RBC Game Night starts at 6:30 at Pason Centennial Arena.
