Those who attended Starcast Dance Studio's Inspiring Greatness event would have seen a hive of activity and a ton of smiling faces.

Young girls making vision boards and setting goals.

Community youth were inspired to stay active, set goals, and be confident.

From Zumba to acro, Risa Atkinson with Starcast says there was a ton to do and a great turnout.

"We knew the Acro workshop with Tyler was going to be exciting for the kids, as he is a former Cirque Du Soleil performer." She added, "Tamara Boivin's Zumba and Pound classes are always a hit, we'll still see kids vision boarding, and of course they always love Ivivva Clothing."

This event was more then just a studio open house, it was an opportunity to get a message of confidence across to their students and new comers from the community.

Atkinson says Starcast doesn't just teach dance, they want to teach the importance of happiness too.

"We're looking for the girls to set some goals for the year and empowering them to be creative and have a positive attitude."

Students Lydia and Stella said they were enjoying the day, and they even got to go home with a new dance outfit to compliment their great smiles.
