The Okotoks Food Bank is once again looking for donations to help during the summer months.

Despite a successful food-drive in May, that supply is slowing dwindling.

Executive Director Sheila Hughes says they'll be turning their attention to summer events for kids.

"Over the next few weeks our donations are to help children that are going to camps and day programs," she says. "They still need lunch items and we are very low on those items."

Hughes says the the lunches that the food bank will make will be available to anyone who really needs them.

"We put together lunch bags, so any family that has children, we put together special bags that we'll do for their lunches."

Hughes says the type of items they need for the bagged lunches are endless.

"Single served soups, mac and cheese, tuna and crackers, peanut butter or cheese or crackers, granola bars, fruit snacks, canned fruit the single servings, puddings or juice boxes.

The items needed are:

1. Single Serving soups
2. Single Serving Mac n Cheese
3. Single Serving Tuna and Crackers
4. Granola Bars
5. Fruit Snacks
6. Popcorn
7. Single Serving Crackers, Cheese & Crackers, & Cookies
