The Okotoks & District Chamber of Commerce held their AGM on Wednesday. The Okotoks and District Chamber of Commerce named their new President Andrew Gustafson, along with two new Vice-Presidents Joelle Guzzo and Sarah Noyes.

Chamber CEO Cheryl Actemichuk says the new brass running The Chamber will be excellent ambassadors to the business community.

"They bring value through their commitment to the business community through leadership, partnership, networking, advocacy," she says. "They all want the chamber and in ecessence the business community to succeed so they're going to be an important part of The Chamber."

The Chamber highlighted right off the bat they want to be a stronger influence to the business community this year and Actemichuk says The Chamber has a lot of work ahead of them.

"With 25% of business community being our members so out of those 25% we know that there's gotta be somebody that wants to volunteer or be involved and thinks they can't because they're not a director and that's not true.  Anybody involved in town can volunteer to do anything with The Chamber."
