The Okotoks Oilers alongside Okotoks Minor Hockey Hockey are hoping to fill the seats at Pason Centennial Arena with 'Pack The Rink Night' Saturday.

Oilers Business Manager and Billet Coordinator Dawn LeMaistre says the louder fans cheer the harder the Oilers will play.

"Last year's Pack The Rink Night we had just over 1100 in the building," she says. "We hold about 2200 at capacity but we'd love to see 1500 people out here on Saturday night cheering on the Oilers for a big win against the Spruce Grove Saints."

LeMaistre says all members of OMHA can get into the game for free.

"We provided all the 1200 plus OMHA players with a VIP card that gets them into all 30 of home games free of charge. All of those players have been provided with those cards earlier in the season and they just those at ticket office to get their complementary one for the game."

There will plenty of give away's for all in attendance when the Oilers face the two time defending league champion Saints team Saturday but LeMaistre says there will also be opportunities for fans to give back local minor hockey associations.

"Alberta Treasury Branch will at the game offering a OHMA Mastercard and for every approved application on the Mastercard, they're donating $50 to the twinning of Pason Centennial Arena as well they're providing a $2 kick back to every OHMA player that is in attendance that evening."

The price of admission to an Oilers game is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students and children's tickets are $5.

Game time is 7 p.m.
