Baby It's Cold Outside is spreading a little magic this year through its Christmas Fixin's Feast campaign.

This will be the second year for the campaign, which provides families who need assistance with Christmas dinner supplies.

In 2016 BCO was able to serve five families through Christmas Fixin's and this year they're hoping to provide for 20.

Pamela Morgan, President and Founder of Baby It's Cold Outside, says they're looking to the community to nominate deserving families.

"Our wish this season is to have the good folks of Okotoks, High River and the Foothills nominate a family that needs a hand up," she says. "We're going to create a Christmas menu with the selected nominees and deliver their Christmas fixings on December 23."

All individuals must do to nominate a family by contacting BCO, and explaining why they might need a hand this Christmas season.

"All you have to do is give us a little bit of a story about what makes that person so special. Christmas is supposed to be a really nice time of year for everyone and we really at BCO want it to be a nice time even for those folks who have fallen on hard times, we want to give them a bit of magic this year."

The Christmas Fixin's Feast comes just after BCO wrapped up its annual winter clothing drive.

Morgan says they collected around 1,200 to 1,600 lbs. of clothing in November.

"One of our most successful drives yet, you're keeping a lot of people warm, be proud Okotoks and community for all that you've done, we thank you."

Nominations for Christmas Fixin's must be submitted by December 15.
