The walls of the Okotoks Art Gallery are adorned with two new exhibits.

The first exhibit, Procession West, was a decade in the making, and depicts the western provinces of Canada with the stunning photos of Robert Michiel and Robert Pohl. Through the use of large format cameras, you can take a journey from the prairies all the way to the rocky mountains.

The second exhibit called Watermarks, depicts Alberta rivers in an entirely new way. Satellite images were the inspiration behind these paintings, and have resulting in something you will have never seen before.

Allan Boss, Culture and Heritage manager for the Town of Okotoks, says these two exhibits seem very different but have something in common.

"Procession West compared to Watermarks, are two very different looks at landscapes."

Both of these exhibits will remain on display in the gallery until April 30th.
