It has been ten years since the Okotoks Recreation Centre; the expansion added a second pool, a gymnasium, extra meeting space as well as the space that Natural High Fitness is located in.

Natural High Fitness signed an agreement with the town to operate a fitness center out of the space.

Owner Andrew Gustafson says that he is excited to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of not only being open but also working with the town.

"We signed a partnership agreement where our members are their members and vice versa so everyone could have access to the entire facility."

Gustafson says that since the ten-year celebration is celebrating ten years of the facility being open along with the towns expansion of the Recreation Centre and the opening of Pason Centennial Arena it is only fitting to share the celebration with them.

Natural High Fitness will be taking part in the Day of Celebration on Sunday.

"Everything that is offered in the Rec Centre including Natural High Fitness is free to the public for the day, along with a ceremonial puck drop at the Bisons game and a cake cutting ceremony at the first intermission," Gustafson says.

Gustafson is looking forward to the community being apart of the celebration of the decade of work, and relationships that have taken place.

"It is not only a great day to celebrate the past ten years, but also a great chance for the community to win some great prizes as well, so we are hoping that people are going to come out and join us."
