A successful Leather N' Chaps Ridin For SNAPS is in the books as hundreds of bikers took to the road to support families with special needs.

The ride saw the bikers go from High River, to the Big Rock Erratic in Okotoks, and out through the Chain Lakes area.

One of the riders Todd says it's great to hop on his motorcycle for a worthy cause.

"We've all tried to get in there to help the families out," he says. "Its good for the parents too, it is hard a lot of people don't realized having a child born that way it takes a lot out of you, takes a lot out of them and a lot of us don't understand what its all about, which we need to realize this (event) helps a lot."

This is the fifth running of the Leather N' Chaps Ridin' for SNAPS ride and long time participant Sandra is already looking forward to next years event.

"I'm a social worker at heart," she says. "I love to support local community events and this is fantastic, it blends kind of a sense of community spirit, along with one of my passions in biking."

The riders always hit the road with a special person in mind during their poker rally, where the silent auction and participation fees goe right right back to SNAPS.
