Alberta could soon see one conservative party as the PC and the Wildrose are now on track to working out a partnership.

Jason Kenney won leadership of the Progressive Conservative party of Alberta on March 18, in Calgary.

He ran on a platform of merging the two parties. Byron Nelson and 323 casting ballots for Richard Starke.

Kenney sent a message over social media saying thanks, and he can't wait to get to work.

Wildrose leader Brian Jean is wanting to meet with him as early as Monday, March 20 to put plans place to form a single party.
