High River RCMP are asking residents to keep an eye out for a white van that was involved in some suspicious activities.

Thursday morning a youth on his way to school was approached by two males in a white van.  

The youth returned home when the males exited the van.  The males then departed the area.

Police were made aware of this incident soon after it happened and patrols were made to attempt to locate the vehicle and males.  Neither were located.  Neighbourhood inquiries were conducted to determine if anyone was witness to this event.

The two men both described as having dark complexions, approximately 30 years of age, approximately 5 foot 7 inches in height and wearing black jackets and blue toques.

RCMP say there has been no criminal offence identified and no link to any past complaints of a similar nature however anyone witnessing suspicious behaviour from a vehicle driven by people matching these descriptions are asked to contact the police.

Our community members are extra eyes and ears and them reporting suspicious happenings helps us investigate events in our community fully and in a timely manner.
