Okotoks Junior High School has started a special fundraiser to help students get a great start to their days.

The School Christmas raffle will see four lucky people head to the Saddledome for a Flames game on January 5th against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

OJHS Principal Leah Kingston says the donation came from the Bouchard family through the School Council and says the raffle is a great way to help support the school.

"We're hoping that many of our OJHS families are going to be in support of this," she says. "The proceeds will go towards supporting our Breakfast Club of Canada, which helps us feed students at our building, we have a great partnership with the Breakfast Club of Canada but we are always looking for support when it comes to supporting our kids."

Kingston says the raffle is open to anybody interesting in buying raffle tickets.

"The students have been receiving information from home and parents received an e-mail but as always they can come into our front offices anytime and purchase them from our secretaries are $5 each or 5 for $20."

The raffle goes from now until December 16th.
