The Foothills Advocacy in Motion Society needs your help selecting photos to be featured on their 2017 fundraising calendars.

AIMS started a Facebook contest a few weeks ago and are now down to the voting stage for the top 12 photos.

Fundraising Coordinator Lisa MacDougall says there's plenty of pictures and styles to choose from.

"We've had a really great response to it and we had over 75 photos sent in from people all over the Foothills," she says. "The photo theme was 'My Community, Your Community, Our Community' which is also our slogan which fits in with the theme."

She has noticed a bit of a western theme to the photos sent in, but there's plenty that illustrate the beauty of the area.

"Tons of horse running, close-ups of saddles or cowboy boots. There are a lot of old buildings too. Originally it was supposed to be just the Foothills, but then people started sending me photos of the Foothills and their backyard so there's pictures of K-Country and the mountains too."

To vote on which pictures should make the cut in the calendars, visit AIMS' Facebook page and like the specific picture on the page before voting closes on Aug. 31.

The AIM Society is also looking for calendar sponsors, and those interested can contact MacDougall at lisa@faims.org
