RCMP in Vulcan are investigating a fatal crash yesterday evening at the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 529, just north of Champion, AB.
 
At this location, EMS paramedics found a two vehicle collision, involving a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and small four door car.
 
The male (exact age unknown), driver of the SUV, determined deceased on scene while a second man in his 20's, was transported via ground ambulance to the Vulcan Community Health Centre.

He sustained serious injuries, but is considered stable and in non life-threatening condition.
