Farmers from all over southern Alberta are making their way north up Highway 2 Wednesday morning on their way to Okotoks and a meeting with Provincial Agriculture Minister Oneil Carlier.

The farmers are protesting Bill 6, the new Farm Workers Protection Act.

They're on their way to Okotoks as part of the province's consultations with producers to discuss their concerns and give them information on changes to the legislation.

The meeting runs from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Best Western Hotel in Okotoks.
