Local residents and students found themselves as the Crescent Point Regional Field House yesterday for the Clean Air Day Fair.

The Calgary Regional Airshed Zone, or CRAZ, hosted the event, with the Town of Okotoks Conservation Educators and several other organizations hosting educational booths.

"Not everybody can afford an electric vehicle, but everybody can afford to check their tire pressure. Other things like walking, riding your bike, carpooling; these are all things that, if we can get people to do one action, it will improve the air quality for all of us."

She says several activities were available, including electric vehicles for students to demo.

"We have two electric vehicles out in the parking lot that the kids can tour. The Electric Vehicle Association and the Tesla Owners Vehicle Association are both out there and they've gotten a great response."

CRAZ would like to thank Foothills County, the Town of Okotoks, the Crescent Point Regional Field House, Inside Education, and Alberta Environment and Parks.
