The Province is looking for feedback from the public on Alberta's labour legislation.

The review focuses on the Employment Standards Code and the Labour Relations Code, neither of which has undergone significant updates since 1988.

The government is looking for feedback on things like maternity, parental and compassionate care leaves, introducing leave for the care of critically ill children, collective bargaining and improving enforcement and administration.

Business and industry associations, trade unions and social agencies will also be approached.

The public is invited to provide feedback until April 18, 2017.
