Now that Christmas is over residents looking to dispose of their tree have a few options.

For those willing to wait the Town of Okotoks will be collecting trees from curbs and chipping them onsite between January 8 and January 19

If an individual misses the collection day for their neighbourhood they can drop off a tree in the north-east corner parking lot of the Operations Centre.

It's asked that all ornaments, wires, and plastic are removed from trees but there is no need to bag them.

Residents with small trees can also cut them and place them in their green cart.
