In the spirit of the Easter holiday, the second annual Rabbit Run & Bunny Dash was held on Saturday.

This is a family fun event, in which all participants ran "quick like a bunny" to help raise money for those battling leukemia and lymphoma.

All the runners got into character for the event, donning their bunny ears and tails.

Sarah Gauthier, a volunteer with the run, says there was an event for all ages and skill levels.

"We have a 15km and 5km course and we also have the bunny dash for our participants who are younger than 8 years old", she says.

This event was a success, raising over $3000 to help find a cure for blood cancers. All of those proceeds go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
