It was a great year for Cruisin' to End MS at the A&W in Aldersyde.

$1 from every Teen Burger sold, as well as till donations on Thursday, went towards supporting the MS Society of Canada.

Kyle Cabrera, manager at the Aldersyde restaurant, says it was a successful campaign this year.

"In total we have $2,173.20 and then to break it down for the teen burgers we sold about 240," he says.

The collection mugs brought in around $284 and the paper cut-outs raised roughly $1,053.

Cabrera says the community was very generous and supportive.

"Every customer that we asked they were able to help out. For the front counter, if they had change they'd just put it in the mug and then every customer we only asked for a dollar donation and they were willing to give and support the MS Society."

Cabrera says staff worked hard and did a great job.

This year's total of approximately $2,173.20 is over the triple amount of 2014s total of $640.
