The Claresholm and District Chamber of Commerce is warning area businesses to be on the look-out after a theft and attempted theft over the last few days.

Chamber President Donna Courage says they've been in touch with the local RCMP about the incidents.

"There has been a few on the East side over by NAPA, and the Challenger/New Holland (farm equipment dealership), there was attempts to get in. But as a community we're trying to keep everybody vigilant on watching for people that shouldn't be in the area, or vehicles that are perusing or just checking things out and shouldn't be there."

Courage says they go through up's and down's in thefts, which is par for the course being along a busy stretch of Highway 2.
