Tell us a little bit about yourself:

"I have lived in our beautiful community of Okotoks for 15 years. I am a proud mom of 2 amazing children now 12 & 14 years old. I work at various school contracts for the Foothills School Division since 2010. I also have worked various local businesses and marketing and sales in our community. I believe in giving back to my community in volunteering. I co-established and direct Okotoks Meet & Mingle Networking which is a non-profit group supporting local restaurants, businesses and entrepreneurs. I am actively involved in committees such as Okotoks Brand Leadership Task force and Foothills Victim Services. I have never shied away from fundraising or volunteering in our schools, sports or larger community fundraisers such as Pason Centennial Arena. I will continue my passion to attend, share, support local businesses, resources and events."

What is the main part of your platform?:

"I am excited to be apart of the future innovative vision for Okotoks! With the construction of the Southwest Calgary ring road we will have higher volume of traffic and visitors. We need to work together to successfully utilize our assets and support businesses, arts and culture, entertainment, events while maintaining affordable living for our residence."

Why do you think you'd make a good councillor?

"I put forth honesty, integrity, strong morals with work and life balance. These attributes have and will open opportunities in our community, securing strong business and personal relationships."
