For the second straight year the Mini Masters has returned to Crystal Ridge Golf Club.

The charity event is open to everyone at the course's mini golf course looking to raise funds for one local charity in town.

Crystal Ridge Pro Greg Johnson says they're looking forward to their own version of Augusta coming to Okotoks once again.

"The mini masters is our little mini golf competition that we put on where all the proceeds that we're donating from the green fees will go towards Kidsport Okotoks," he says.

Any golfer under the age of 13 will be automatically entered to a draw to win an iPad mini no matter their registered score.

Johnson says they'll be running the Mini-Masters right up till the sun goes down.

"Just come on out and see us out at the mini golf course, Crystal Ridge is donating all the proceeds of the event towards Kidsport. It's a charity that I think is really important, sports have provided me a lot of opportunities in life and it's just good to give back to a local organization that really benefits the kids."

Last year the Mini-Masters raised just over $1000 and are hoping to break that mark this year.

"We'll be out all day we will have our tent and our tables out there from 9 am till about 7 pm so if you want to come out a little bit later in the evening we'll still be donating the green fees to Kidsport but you might not just be able to us out there."
