Another action packed Bragg Creek Days is set to kick off Saturday as the event celebrates it's 50th year.

The weekend celebrating the Hamlet's history gets rolling with a pancake breakfast followed by the parade.

Event Coordinator Kelsey Baldwin says the weekend is jam packed with other activities as well.

"We also have a mechanical bull coming out, we have an acrobatic show coming out on the Saturday, free bouncy house access, free mid-way games, all kinds of food trucks and snacks for the whole family," she says.

On Sunday Bragg Creek Days will be a part of the Ride For Sight, which raises awareness for blindness.

Baldwin says the ride will be a perfect way to cap off Bragg Creek Days.

"Very wonderful cause that supports children and people with blindness," she says. "All the money goes back to the Ride for Sight Foundation, stays with the organization, they're doing a big poker rally in the morning, free bike games, a show and shine and the beer gardens will be on Sunday as well."

Entry into the Bragg Creek Days grounds is just five dollars.
