The Big Rock Singers are rolling out the glitz and glam for their spring production.

On Broadway will benefit the Okotoks Food Bank and Foothills Country Hospice with half of the ticket sales going towards the organizations.

Carey Gruber, music director, says this will be their largest production to date.

"This is our biggest show ever and we're showcasing 11 major broadway shows, everything from Fiddler on the Roof, Les Miz, Phantom of the Opera, A Chorus Line, Wicked, and ending with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Code. It's a huge show."

The choir will be in full costume for the show and undergoing a lot of fast changes to really get into their roles.

"This is our 26th year in business doing two concerts a year, a Christmas show and our spring show which has turned into kind of a showcase event and more show choir so we sing, we dance, we act, we do it all."

The production will take centre stage at the Foothills Centennial Centre on May 7th at 7:00 p.m.
