The 14th annual Baby It's Cold Outside Share the Warmth Winter Clothing Drive begins Wednesday, Nov. 1.

BCO will be accepting all new and used winter clothing for men, women, and children, as well as toiletries throughout the month.

Pamela Morgan, Founder and President of Baby It's Cold outside says there are five drop off locations in Okotoks.

"We have five local partners within the Foothills community, Chatters, Cha-Cha John's, Motion Fitness, Fountain Tire, Staples, Tribal Connections, Image hair design, Bone & Biscuit, and Okotoks Decorating, so there will be bins inside of the premises where people can kindly drop off their donations."

A new addition to the program this year is same day, curb side pickup for donations.

"This year we're offering a curb side pickup, and how that works is you can text me directly at 403-660-3648, or you can message me on our Facebook page which is Baby It's Cold Outside YYC."

Morgan says all donations will go towards helping the most vulnerable citizens in the Foothills, and Calgary.

"The clothing and toiletries go to local agencies and shelters closest to us, so the Drop-In Centre and Mustard Seed are the main agencies we partner with. For children's and youth clothing those items go directly to the Drop-In Centre, and then the employees there partner with other agencies in the Foothills community to make sure the clothing goes to those agencies."

Morgan shares she is grateful to the Okotoks and foothills community for their continuous support in offering a hand up to those in need.

The last Share the Warmth Winter Clothing Drive collected 2227 pounds of clothing.

The Share the Warmth Winter Clothing Drive runs until Nov. 30.
