The streets of Black Diamond were filled with music and unique cars yesterday, July 30, as Marv's annual Rock & Roll Classic Show and Shine kicked off.
Close to 350 classic cars were taken in by about 7000 visitors throughout the day.
Admission was $10.00 per car, Event creator Marv Garriott says he's hoping to donate all leftover proceeds after covering the costs of the event to a local curling rink.
The Jacob Libbus curling rink out of the Oilfields curling club is currently fundraising for a trip to Sweden next April as part of the Nordic Junior Curling Tour.
Garriott shares, the day was good fun for everyone who attended.
"It was just a spectacular day, everybody loved the entertainment, it went really, really nice."
This is the tenth Rock & Roll Classic Show and Shine Garriott has hosted.
