Another record breaking year in Okotoks for Tim Horton's Camp Day, yesterday, May 31.

Tim Horton's restaurants in town raised $13,951.31 towards sending kids from low income families to camp.

Brad Woolcott, owner of all three Tim Horton's restaurants in Okotoks says he's proud of the community he does business in.

"We're very lucky in this community that people respect, and come in and share their hard earned money with us for Camp Day, so a great success for us for sure."

Woolcott says most Tim Horton's locations will be able to two kids to camp, however Okotoks stores might be able to send more this year with the amount raised.

He shares there are a long list of people to thank for making Camp Day a success.

"First of all I'd like to thank everyone in the community for coming in and helping us out that day. But most importantly we want to send a thank you to all the volunteers that we had, we had some people from the Oilers, the Dawgs, the firefighters, police service, and EMS, it's not a day without them coming in and sharing their support. I'd also like to thank my staff because it's a busy, tough day, but they always have a smile on their face."

Tim Horton's Okotoks raised $9,392.31 for Camp Day last year.
