Items like water, policing, garbage and recycling along with street maintenance are the big ticket items people in Black Diamond are concerned about.

Turner Valley Mayor Kelly tuck says  the numbers are part of a joint survey between Black Diamond and her town around joint services between the Town's as they continue to talk about amalgamation.

"Well those are your key infrastructures. Those are your deliverable services that you give to your ratepayers. So, I'm just wanting again to identify where are strengths were and where we can look at doing better. And when you're looking at amalgamation, where can we truly be better."

The two Towns have been talking becoming one since February of 2016.

They tried and failed to join back in 2007 when residents voted by a narrow margin to stay as separate towns."

Tuck says results from Turner Valley's half of the survey will be released once Council approves the report at a special meeting next week.
