In an effort to get more people out to High River for Guy Weadick days in June, organizers are throwing open the gates looking to fill the Ag Grounds with campers this year.

Event Chair Don O'Brien says he's hoping to fill the place up.

"I think I can get 300 campsites in. Now if it's 200, it'll be 200. But it's a heck of a lot more than we've had in any other year. The idea is, I would love to see our main grounds be so full we have to rent the field next door to park cars during the day. That's my vision."

O'Brien says they're also added more money for contestants, are making the cabaret Friday and Saturday bigger and better and have put a bunch of money into more and better washroom facilities.

Tickets for the Rodeo, Chuckwagons and Camping can be found at the High River Ag Society's Website.
