A busy weekend in high school football for local teams, and some movement in the Football Alberta rankings.

The Foothills Falcons remain tops in Tier II, despite a 21-0 loss to the Henry Wise Wood Warriors Friday, September 15, as they fall to 2-and-1 on the season.

The Holy Trinity Academy Knights improved to 2-and-0 with an 18-6 win over the Medicine Hat Mohawks.

The win moves them up four spots in the Tier II rankings from 9th, to 5th.

And Claresholm's Willow Creek Cobras got their first win of the season as they blasted Winston Churchill out of Lethbridge 35-7 to even their record at 1-and-1.

They stay at number two in the Tier IV rankings.
