Not all rodeos are cancelled this year.

Corine Vanstone says the High River Ag Society's Fall Junior Rodeo goes Saturday, October 31.

"It's just so great to watch the kids go out and have a great day and it's a Halloween special so they dress themselves up and they dress their horses up, it's absolutely adorable," she says.

There'll be hundreds of kids taking part from all over the region in many different age categories, including the real young ones, seven and under who get to take part in the pig scramble, mutton busting and goat tail untying and then barrels pole lead lines.

Vanstone says as a bonus the winner of the pig scramble gets to take the pig home.

They also do barrels and poles for the older kids and there's team and breakaway roping, steer riding and wild pony races along with goat tail tying.

Spectators are limited to family only.
