Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan's Evan Salmond is $25,000 richer thanks to his win in the "Dash for Cash" final at the Grande Prairie Stompede Sunday, June 3.

He says he was happy to win both the aggregate title and the dash.

"The pressure was kind of off. We felt pretty good winning the aggregate and this (winning the dash) was kind of our bonus I guess. But it's a pretty nice bonus to get."

Okotoks Dayton Sutherland was 19th on the final day.

His dad Mark Sutherland was 21st.

Both High River's Jason Glass and Jordie Fike finished near the bottom after getting into penalty trouble again.

The chucks now head to Saskatoon for four days of racing starting Thursday, June 7.
